dc.description.abstractA program of current research funded by the United Kingdom (UK) research councils and supported by the UK Defence Science and Technology Laboratory (DSTL) is reported. The work involves pioneering data collection, analysis, and tool development to support future air combat systems. The role of a community of users and developers of the data and tools is reported, as well as the underpinning philosophy of the work and future prospects for its wider application.
