dc.description.abstractThe costs of complying with the current Prompt Payment Act (PPA) threshold frequently exceed the payment owed to the vendors. In other words, the government devotes time, money, and administrative capacity to reimburse vendors for negligible dollar amounts. PPA should be amended to increase its out-of-date payment threshold.
