Abstract: An analysis of Light Armored Vehicle (LAV) Depot Level Maintenance is conducted to examine the scheduled maintenance cycle and processes in order to determine potential inefficiencies related to cost or time. Performance is measured by analyzing costs, cycle time, quality, availability, and flexibility. Current operations in Iraq are considered for effects on depot level maintenance, depot capacity, and operational availability. This analysis has implications in determining whether depot level maintenance should be conducted at Barstow, California, or Albany, Georgia, or at both facilities as it is now.
