dc.description.abstractAs a spin-off of the Total Ownership Cost (TOC) research that Mike Boudreau and I conducted, there was some interest in examining the TOC implications of software intensive systems and what the software component is adding to the TOC burden. I thought it would be interesting to get into this, it felt a lot like opening Pandora's Box.
